Select portions of MyAQ can be seen by the public and alumni, including the broader range of 日历 events meant for public viewing. The site is not promoted as a destination for people outside the Aquinas campus community.

This is a great option to promote your event to a wider range of people, especially employees and the public.

You also need to know this before adding events

These 日历s are for promotional purposes only. Adding 一个事件 here does not reserve a space in a building or campus space. If you want to reserve a space, please use the Inter-Campus Room & 事件请求.

When you submit 一个事件 to a 日历, it is reviewed by Aquinas 工作人员 before being 发布. Generally speaking, all events should be tied directly to Aquinas campus activities.

For marketing and communication support (website updates, digital signage, photo/video, social media, media relations) please use the Marketing and Communications Work Request. This includes enhancements to 日历 events such as photos and ticketing options.

How to create and display events

There are multiple ways to create 一个事件 and have it displayed. Choose what works best for you -- and try to stick with that same method. The bullet points and graph below show the options.

If you want the event to appear 在十大赌博登录官网.edu和MyAQ, create the event 在十大赌博登录官网.edu这里.
If you want the event to appear in a Group 在MyAQ, create the event in a Group 在MyAQ. You will need to be a Group Admin to create 一个事件.
If you have a 谷歌日历 and want the events to appear 在MyAQ and/or 十大赌博登录官网.edu，启用 public view on the 谷歌日历. 然后, ask Marketing to add the 日历 feed to MyAQ and/or 十大赌博登录官网.edu. An advantage to using 谷歌日历 is that when you make changes in 谷歌, the changes happen automatically 在MyAQ and 十大赌博登录官网.edu.

How to publicly share a 谷歌日历 feed

To enable public sharing of a 谷歌 Calendar, follow these steps.

Place your mouse over the 日历 name and three vertical dots will appear. 点击 the three dots and then select "Settings and sharing".
You'll need to adjust one setting. 去 "Access permissions for events" and check the box next to "Make available to public".
Scroll further down the settings page to the "Integrate Calendar" area.
Under the section "Public address in Ical format" you will see a long URL that ends in .ics. Copy that complete URL and supply it to marketing@十大赌博登录官网.edu.
